UL Ragin' Cajuns softball team beat Arizona 5-3 in game 1 of the Lafayette Super Regional.
Arizona's 3 runs came off a solo home run by there first batter and a 2 run home run in the seventh . Christina Hamilton held them down except for the 2 home runs from the top home run hitting team in the Nation.

Congrats Cajuns! 1 more game. So, now that both your baseball and softball teams are so close to the World Series, which one has the best chance of pulling the shocker? I'd say your baseball team. I just think they can beat anybody. Softball's going to be a lot harder with teams like Bama out there.

The UL baseball team will go as far as their bullpen will allow. That is their Achilles heel.
