I've only ever been through Mobile on I-10 and it has been several years, never been to USA's campus...

But I'll play along.

Stadium needs to go right here. Track and soccer can move out to somewhere around your intramural fields. Softball can move to the parking lot across the street or across the street from the baseball stadium (Left Field).

Again, I've never been to your campus...but from what I can tell from Google Earth and Streetview. Ya'll have a pretty small campus (density and building size-wise, not acreage) for having 15,000 students.

That is exactly where everyone else thinks its going to go. Next to Stanky Field.

The baseball field is named after our first prominent baseball coach. For the first decades of USA, baseball was our signature sport. The school made it to a number 1 ranking in baseball in only our 5th year of competition.

The school is on a building spree. There's plenty of room though.

It should be on the West end of campus in Hillsdale Heights. Right behind the Football Field House.

At the northernmost point of campus to give App a travel partner and drop Idaho and go with 10.

I don't see how anyone can call a campus ugly without having set foot on it. Someone is just being a negative Nelly.

South Alabama has a 1,200 acre campus and most of it's building have been replaced or updated in the last several years. It's as beautiful a campus as there is in the the Sun Belt.

We could use a proper quad.

The Moulton Bell Tower area is a nice place to gather and the new student center just opened.

So it's just a little smaller than UL. That's a start. Any pics or links? Hard to tell from the roof tops what the campus looks like. I tried that virtual tour thing but you are really limited to what you can see. I've been to a few Belt campuses and ours is the most beautiful by far but then again I'm biased.

I used google Earth just now. It looks like some buildings have been fixed up and do look good and others do look pretty ugly. I love the clock tower. We don't have a clock tower. That soccer and track area would perfect for an on campus stadium.

Hey, leave the Cajun alone. Someone pissed in his Corn Flakes a decade ago and he's been Ragin' ever since.

Don't worry. We have met too many class Cajun fans to make a mistake like that. All fanbases have their share of goofballs, but y'all have a whopper in that one.

I really don't think UL fans give a darn what a USA fan thinks. I sure don't. You clock tower is nice. There is no quad that I can see. Some buildings do look good but many still look like they were built in the 60's by some Soviet contractors doing a little freelance work. We had building like that but are now finally tearing them down and fixing up others. USA should do the same. That soccer and track field would be the perfect spot for a new on campus stadium. You can take offense by that and call me names but I really don't care. I call things as I see them. If that upsets you then that is your problem. BTW I've always said Mobile is a nice city. There's no reason USA couldn't become a bigger football program.

There's this new craze called the internet. You should explore it. I've never set foot on the campus at USA but I've seen it through google Earth. I could have lied and said, sure I've been all over it. I'm not a liar like some. Not a bad looking campus by Belt standards but it needs some work. All of our campuses could use some work. We are going through millions of dollars of renovations right now. I love your clock tower. It's a nice touch. I wish it was in the works at UL but I don't think it is. Go ahead and find an insult in what is only constructive criticism. I find it comical.

I'm purposely leaving off our athletic facilities, fraternities, and sororities. I'm also omitting the hospitals and cancer research institute. Here are other scenes around USA campus. Sorry I can't make the pictures the same size (hopefully your browser helps you in this regard). Btw, yes we do have a swamp on campus, and it is used for academic purposes.

Skully,
You just did a great job showing how nice our campus is today.

I'm sad to say that in my time at South I was the epitome of a redneck.
Gayfer's dept. store didn't pay enough so I ran a couple of trot lines across three mile creek for catfish to go with my ramen noodles. Hillsdale living wasn't for wimps.

It sure was worth it in the end.

Go Jags.
