As for beating us at our place. You sure did. Heck, Benson and Co were nice and even got the refs to help WKU beat us. All you had to do was win one of your last two and you have an outright title.

So now the refs helped beat you...not just Western? Do I really need to bring back my up close slow mo video of the calls? Just let me know and then we can go over each one of the calls the refs made to "help beat ASU"

Season's over. We have two champions. Cajuns and Red Wolves. Both have rings and trophies of the same size. Both won their bowls. WKU not involved. Leave it at that.

Here you go and as you see or at least you can if you're not looking through ASU color glasses it was Western that got the bad calls. A missed horse collar...clear as day right out in the open. If this was called there was no need for the 4th down play. Then if the ref didn't made a bad chop block call on Western..

You knew the rules before the season. They didn't change on you midstream.
We do not have a tie-breaker. In the Sun Belt the champion is whoever wins the most conference games. Each game counts exactly the same. None are more important than the others. If you had beaten ULM on your field like we did on theirs...you would have won it solo. If we had beaten WKU on their field like you did then we would have won it solo. Neither of us did that. You can't change the rules retroactively to make you solo champ. You will never be solo champ just like we will never be solo champ of 2005. You should get used to just being champion because that is all you will ever be for 2013. Not solo champion.

The NFL does head to head and a minor league hockey team I passively follow. That's the extent to my knowledge. If there is a tie, the tie breaker goes to head to head. If that's not true saying they have a better program than ours is with merit.

Apples and oranges. Because of how the playoff spots are awarded ties have to be broken. Same thing happens in hoops because there is NIT guaranteed slot to deal with and seeding for the tournament.
Eight times the SEC had co-champs without a tie broken.

How does one game from last season determine who's the better program?
ULM beat you on your field last year, they must be a better program than Louisiana.
I think you'd be better served to point out your slight advantage all time over ASU(22-19-1) or your slight advantage over the past ten seasons(6-4). Of course an ASU fan could point to their 4 SBC titles(2 outright, 2 shared) compared to Louisiana's 2 SBC titles(both shared).
There are plenty of metrics by which one side or the other could argue they have the better program, but the winner of last year's game is not one of them.
