But Friday night works much better for us than Tuesday or Wednesday RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced - asupatch - 04-01-2014 10:19 AM (04-01-2014 10:15 AM)GoApps70 Wrote: Sounds like the Appalachian at Georgia Southern game will be on ESPNU on Thursday Glad to see App got a Thursday game as an AWAY game. Would have been there regardless but it will be nice to get to watch my Apps on a Thursday night on national TV. RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced - GoApps70 - 04-01-2014 10:25 AM Friday night games can be good if it doesn't upset the local high school programs. GSU u better not make us look bad RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced - SkullyMaroo - 04-01-2014 10:38 AM A second Friday game for USA (our other is Black Friday against Navy). Ugh. So much for tailgating. Thanks ESPN. RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced - GoApps70 - 04-01-2014 10:47 AM Louisiana-Monroe beat Wake Forest last year. Hope they can duplicate on ESPNU this year at home. RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced - GoApps70 - 04-01-2014 10:50 AM Got a feeling Georgia Southern is going to throw everything but the kitchen sink at Appalachian State. They don't want the announcers on a nationally televised game saying, "And App State takes their fourth straight football victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles!" RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced - BlueBird10 - 04-01-2014 10:52 AM including the kitchen sink! I would like to go to troy, but I am taking off Friday and Monday two weeks later for Navy. Might just have to take off Friday instead, but I hate driving long distances with a hangover. You might want to go to the Troy game instead of the App State game. Wouldn't want you driving a long distanced PO'd with a hangover. App has never lost on the U. 6-0. Has won the last three against Georgia Southern. Would not want you having any wrecks. I was planning on making the trip even knowing it was probably going to be moved to a Thutrsday night game. But now that the Troy South game has been moved to Friday night the week before I'm not sure I will be able to take off of work that much... RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced - statefanatic - 04-01-2014 11:22 AM Just a short year ago some Georgia Southern fans wanted to stay FCS. How many nationally televised games a year did they get at the FCS level? |
