Weather will likely cause havoc with several games tonight. UTA/USA has already been postponed that I know of.

What's the weather like in S. Louisiana today? Here it's 75 and sunny. Of course, for 6 months out of the year it's 75 and sunny. The other 6 months it's 75 and rainy.

First of what could be a bunch of rain delay's begins for ASU. Game will not start until 6:30 at the earliest. Apparently no one wants to play 2 tomorrow, because the forecast looks bleak.

In the UTA/USA game, we were behind 10000-1 with 2 strikes 2 outs in the bottom of the fourth. The umpire, who is a USA grad, booster, and parent to some of the players, saw the pitch was going to be a strike and in mid-air through his hands up and said THE GAME IS CALLED without even consulting either coach.
Whew.

The umpire, who is a USA grad, booster, and parent to some of the players, saw the pitch was going to be a strike and in mid-air through his hands up and said THE GAME IS CALLED without even consulting either coach.

I highly doubt Troy finishes below 4th in the conference and I don't think USA will finish 2nd but it's possible.

If we could just play all our games at home we would be set. We are 3-4 on the road this year and 16-3 at home. We are at it again tonight, losing 5-2 to Davidson in the 7th.

Georgia State moves to 2-5 in league by beating Troy 8-6. Trojans drop to 3-3.
ULM is up on UALR 8-6 in the 8th.

Who is coaching ULM right now? Whoever it is seems to be an improvement over the stompdowns they were enduring under the other guy.

To be fair...they are playing UALR, who finishes 8th or 9th basically every season.
