2010 SWAC TOURNAMENT - EPJr - 03-09-2010 11:23 AM MEN’S MATCHUPS Jackson State will face Grambling State in the final game Wednesday night. JSU is 19-1 since starting the season 0-10. Jackson State has won 13 straight games and will face a Grambling team it swept this season (75-59 at home on Jan. 23, 84-79 in OT on the road on Feb. 20). University Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s’ #2 seed is its highest since entering the SWAC and will take on #7 Mississippi Valley State. UAPB has won eight of its past nine games entering the tournament. The Golden Lions swept the Delta Devils this season (winning 69-68 in OT on Jan. 4, winning 84-68 Mar. 4). Alabama State and Alabama A&M play in the opening round of the tournament for the second consecutive year, this time as the 3-6 matchup. The Hornets again swept the season series (83-69 at home Jan. 16, 80-76 on the road Feb. 13.) Texas rivals Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern will also meet for the third time this season.
