Feel free to go hunt down parts 2-6 if you wish:

Glenn Beck's CPAC Speech

I watched a few minutes of that on CSPAN last night(taped). I 03-lmfao but turned it off quickly. Also noticed that Ann Coulter was speaking. The few minutes I watched her, she said she was embarrased to be an American. She finally said something truthful. :)

I'm sure you were traumatized.

Try some of part 2:

"It's not enough just to not suck as much as the other side."

Sadly, that's the main - maybe only - plank in the GOP platform these days.

Maybe but the Republicans don't have anybody better than Obama so that won't work. :)

I probably agree with you there, Robert.

There's nobody worth a damn in either party. Nobody.

So Obama is a Republican? Who knew?

I'm sure if they looked really hard they could find a junior senator who's never written any meaningful legislation at any level of gov't, votes mostly "present," and can read from a teleprompter.

They could grab the first janitor they found at a Wal-Mart and it would be an improvement. Or a garbage collector. Dog catcher. They could even go with the inanimate, a rock.

Suffice it to say that the American Electorate bought a pig in a poke. I see no reason why they won't do it again. Lesser of evils politics.

It's not good enough to continue the trend.

I can promise you, Obama will not be reelected. He will lose to whomever the Republicans choose in their primary.

.....now, if you want to lose what little money you have, you can always be me on this.

Oh I never said that he would win. I'm 45/55 on that at best.

If you want to bet I guess you're out of luck. I've seen that house of yours and I can't match you.

Only 25% of attendees bothered to vote and of those 50% were students. Mostly just his supporters voted. He was not, and I'm sure you could tell by the reaction of the crowd, the favorite of the crowd.

The Reps cant even get but 25% of those at the event to even bother to vote in the straw poll. Then...RP managed 31% of the 2500 that did. Lots of exited gang members at this event.03-lmfao

The proper title should be, "Hello, my name is the Republican party, and my membership no longer values leaders with real ideas on how to govern. They simply long for soundbytes and celebrity. That's why I have crackpots (Glenn Beck), windbags (Rush Limbaugh), do-nothings (McConnell and Boehner), and borderline idiots (Palin) steering my course. If anyone sees my moderate wing, please tell them to come home before it's too late."
