Funny because of the solid content. There has to be a germ of truth to make things funny and that skit was an epidemic of germs.

Reminds me of when Chevy Chase did Ford - not a "dead-on" twin, but funny!

I hardly ever watch the M period. It's much more entertaining getting my news from here.

whats fascinating is what they don't criticize him for.

whats Pathetic was CNN trying to "fact check" Saturday Night Live. Dare they question The One!

Hey, let's be fair... SNL is not exactly a bastion of right-wing propoganda and they're (rightfully) calling him out on his failures, INCLUDING saying I have control of both houses and STILL can't get anything passed.

CNN fact-checking the skit is the REAL joke. They certainy didn't fact-check the insults of Bush, Palin, McCain, Gore or even Clinton (either one) It's called satire... but the best satire is rooted in fact.

IS Clinton a philanderer?? Yup... IS Bush a poor "off-the-cuff" speaker?? Yup... HAS Obama failed to produce a single significant promise of his campaign?? Yup... so far anyway. We're almost a year in, and ittle has changed, other than a report saying what Dems lambasted McCain for saying... that 50,000 troops may remain in Iraq indefinately.

His entire f'n POINT was stupid as hell and insulting to this board.

Can anyone name me one damn story that's on the MSM that is NOT talked about here or elsewhere? When I watch Hannity, Greta, the MSM, or anyone else in the evening, I've already READ about the **** here, at my conservative board, or on f'n Facebook for Chrissakes. It's why I like Boortz. He get's it new. The other guys play off of each other. ESPECIALLY Hannity. If you've heard Rush from 12-3, you've heard Hannity from 3-6...just in a different voice. ....and no, moonbats, Air America is NOT any damn different. There can be only so many stories a damn day. I don't watch evening news to get told something I didn't already know. When I do watch it, I watch it to see other opinions on the matter.

Oh, and Robert is still a f'n moron. That is, however, just my very humble opinion.

RE: Saturday Night Live: Obama "Accomplishments" Skit - Rebel - 10-06-2009 07:27 PM

Oh, and BTW, I'll go toe to toe with knowledge on world affairs with Robert, but he only has 10. It would be a short battle.

Come to think of it, this may be the reason I like Robin Meade in the morning. It's completely nonpartisan about news I haven't heard about. By the time I get home in the evening, I've already read or heard about most stories and have already formulated my opinion on the matter.

Robin Meade is in love with me. She just doesn't know it.

I like Robin Meade for different reasons. :rolltide:
