"If we don't act" - Rebel - 06-23-2009 06:56 PM

"GM and Chrysler will go bankrupt"

We did, and they did.

"Unemployment will reach 9.5%"

We did, it did.

"Health insurance will become unaffordable"

....I'm starting to see a pattern here.

"Iran will remain a theocracy"

We have not.....(fill in the blank).05-stirthepot

Seriously though....I can not conceive of the idea that US government covert operative not already being involved in this. I fully believe they are. To sit by and not get involved would go against pattern and convention of our interventionist policies.03-idea

What? You don't have faith in Obama? Don't let too many people know, like Clinton, Obama seems to have a way to publically destroy the reputations of anyone who questions him.

Oh the Messiah, in 333rd Press Conference today, stated that their initial figures were wrong on predicting unemployment levels and that "THEY" now believe that Unemployment will reach 11%, but the Messiah would not speculate above that number.

OF COURSE, the Magic Mouth TOTUS had a retort to this "extra shift in unemployment numbers", it is because they are not being "AGRESSIVE ENOUGH IN GETTING THE STIMULUS MONEY OUT THE DOOR" ... 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

I am sure that "Several Million Dollar Stimulus Money for 'Studying the Why Pig Sh't Stinks' will create at least '1' Job" .....

What is that now, '1' Down and 499,999 Million Jobs to GO !!!!!!!

Maybe that Bullet Train Rail System will need at least 1 Million of those unemployed to work it ....

HEY ROBs !!!!! You can finally get off Unemployment and Work For a Rail Road like you have always dreamed of !!!!!! 04-rock 04-rock 04-rock

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot help little men by tearing down big men.
You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.
You cannot build character and courage by destroying men's initiative and independence.
And you cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.

While the Iranians accuse the US, UK, and Israelis of funding the protesters, I have it on good authority from a retired Agency officer that worked in the Middle East for 6 years that we aren't doing anything except monitoring the situation-- and the Covert Operators aren't really looking forward to getting involved in the future because someobody- Congress or Obama- will pull the rug out from under them later on.

I wonder if the thought of what will happen politically down the road, if Obama/Dems refuse to do anything, the Regime stays in place and then they get Nukes and worse down the road when there was a chance to either stop or seriously delay that at this moment....and they did nothing
