It doesn't pay to be a US citizen any more - smn1256 - 04-14-2009 09:15 PM

What ever value US citizen may have once held is being marginalized day by day by the left.

Quote:Bill LD 1195, introduced by Democrats in the state Legislature last month, would allow non-U.S. citizens to vote in Maine's municipal elections. The bill is getting a sympathetic hearing from state officials who, extraordinarily, feel that Maine has been tinted by restricting voting to actual Americans. ''Whenever you get more people to participate, you add legitimacy to that process,'' Matthew Dunlap, Maine's secretary of state, told The Portland Press Herald.

Naturally, most non-citizens would vote liberal because of the freebies.

.

I don't see why we don't include Iran, Yemen, Pakistan, Russia, Cuber (Teddy there), Venezuela, Somalia, and scores of other countries to be allowed to Vote in United States Elections.

Hell, we could hold an OPEN WORLD BALLOT and call it the "OBAMA-NATION of America".

I mean boy would we have one heck of a time trying to count "6 Billion Hanging Chads" ..... 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

Al Gore just might have half a chance after all ...

Here I would have thought Kalifornia would be leading in the effort to allow illegal immigrants the vote. By saying "non-U.S. citizens" they are talking mostly about illegal immigrants are they not? It's hard to decipher this new left wing PC propaganda lingo.

I would contend that the value of citizenship was lost along time ago. There actually are no citizens anyway. A citizen is one that owes allegiance in exchange for protection. The SOTUS has rules several times that there is no obligation of the government to protect you.

I love that this Dunlap clown actually thinks that the voting process has legitimacy anyway.03-lmfao
