Just a thought I'd like to throw out here.

At times users delete their own posts for a variety of reasons, but sometimes trolls will hide behind deleting posts so that they don't get caught. We had a guy in the past who would go back and spend hours deleting all his own posts and threads (along with every other post in that thread) so that mods couldn't go back and pile up evidence against him when it came time to punish him.

Wouldn't it be better if regular users couldn't delete their own threads and posts? Maybe instead everyone can just "unapprove" their posts. That way mods can see if someone is trying to hide something. Obviously that's a problem if that person goes back and just edits the entire post to blank it out, but not everyone is that smart.

Just an idea. Thoughts?

We can setup the warning system so that certain user privileges are removed when they reach a certain warning level. I believe we're just waiting on an agreement for the new rules in the AUP.
