yes i think there will! It will take time, but if the Vandals football and basketball programs take off we will definatly have one!!!!!!! Our women's bball team got 2nd in the Big West at 22-7 last year.
Men's bball got 5th in the Big West at 13-15
Football got 7th in the Sunbelt at 3-9 but we have a new coach now starting his 2nd year as a head coach and they are making HUGE progress.
We are now members of the WAC and are ready to be a competitive program so we will have to wait and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rob Spear, the A.D., has stated that the basketball situation will take priority and a facility for that will be built first. Only problem is that the funding must come from the private sector. Vandal BB has not been very good lately and does not draw well in the Cowan Spectum in the Kibbie Dome. Chicken or the egg - build a facility and hope to win and draw crouds or win and generate money because of the poor facilities we now have. Football is 5-8 years away from anything concrete. The Vandies must fill the Kibbie Dome game after game to force a new facility I believe. Winning as always will solve most of the problems down the road. Nick Holt will turn things around in time. Idaho was rated the second best recruiting class just behind Bozo State this spring. It will take time but most hard core Vandals are optimistic and hopeful. Go Vandals! :)

We have renovated the Dome. It appears we can get it up to 20-22K. right now it is at 16-17K, but has had upgrades that make it enjoyable on those cold "winter chilling" of Al Gore's "global warming".
