I'm a parrothead, so when Zac Brown hit the scene, I naturally became a fan.

This is from their new EP.. It's 4 songs and it was all done with Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters.. What I understood is they all went into a studio and didn't change anything from the sound.

i'll forever remember this album as being around during a tumultuous period in my life. i fell too hard too quickly for a girl and she broke my heart. i drove out west and went on a mead bender. i was planning on doing that anyways. i came back and met my wife. our first date was a pumpkin maze. i picked her up and to make light chat i mentioned arcade fire whom was playing on my cd player. i said, "how about that arcade fire? can you believe they won a f*cking grammy?" she said a bit alarmed, "what's on fire?" i didn't think i would be courting her this long

Get your Slash on tomorrow!

A pretty legit rocker now that I have gotten the chance to really dig into it.

NEW Prince music today and next Tuesday...

He's still good even though I find myself more of a fan of his "classic" era...

I discovered Cage the Elephant yesterday. I went ahead and downloaded about 3 albums by them. Wish me luck.

I've heard they're good.... I wasn't all that enamored with them.

Paul Revere, the organist and leader of long-running classic rock band Paul Revere and the Raiders, died on Saturday in his Idaho home, the band’s official website confirmed in a letter. He was 76.

TMZ reports that he has been battling cancer since last year, though no official cause of death has been announced.

The Raiders got their start in 1963, when they released their cover of Richard Berry’s “Louie, Louie.” They would go on to release four Top Ten singles in the ’60s: “Hungry,” Good Thing” “Him or Me, What’s It Gonna Be” and, one of their biggest hits, anti-drug song “Kicks.”

In 1971, the Raiders released “Indian Reservation (The Lament of the Cherokee Reservation Indian).” The song became their biggest hit, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard chart in July 1971 and selling more than one million copies.

Better than the last one but I am still awaiting overall good albums like his first three were.
