Haven't given it a listen yet, but Zach Condon (Beirut) is only 20, and I can only imagine.

Thanks for recommending that tune. Great great stuff. Listening to some Vetiver right now. I really dig this freak folk that's been popping up. Devendra's sweet. Joanna Newsom, simply one of my favorite musicians (and lady is a musician). And Animal Collective is simply a whole lot of fun.

Man. How can you listen to Creed? Ewww.. I completely understand everything else you listen to, cause it all follows. If you listened to God forbid, Nickelback or any other made for radio manufactured pop stars I'd understand, but Creed blows hard. But it doesn't matter what I think. Here's my little listening:

First, this is the funnest, feel good album of the year.

I'm From Barcelona- "Let Me Introduce You to My Friends"
really can't wait for the US release, hope they continue to make music.

The Islands- Jogging Gorgeous Summers
The Minders- Hand Me Downs
Peter, Bjorn and John- Let's Call the Whole Thing Off
Cat Power- Fool
Mountain Goats- Jenny
The Replacements- Within Your Reach
Submarines- Hope
Kacy Crowley- Bada$$
The Stills- The Mountain
Joanna Newsome- This Side of the Blue
Mirah- Jerusalem

I like Creed, and Stapp's solo cd. Don't much care for Nickleback OR Puddle of Mudd and the like.

Dr Dre: THe Chronic

Rakim: The 18th Letter, The Book of life ( the old school cd of this double cd to be specific)

Man I wish Rakim was back on the mic these days. Him and Eric B made some great tunes together.
